Sarah Chen

Head of Career Strategy

Career Transitions Executive Coaching Industry Networks

Sarah transformed her own career from corporate finance to strategic career consulting after experiencing firsthand how challenging professional transitions can be. She spent eight years at KPMG Dublin before founding her own consultancy, which eventually led her to Orlynx in early 2024.

What sets Sarah apart isn't just her impressive track record—she's guided over 200 professionals through major career pivots—but her genuine understanding of the emotional side of career change. She knows that behind every CV is a person with real concerns about their future, and she approaches each conversation with that humanity in mind.

Sarah holds an MBA from Trinity College Dublin and maintains active connections across Ireland's business community. When she's not working with clients, you'll find her hiking the Wicklow Mountains or experimenting with new recipes in her kitchen.

Emma O'Sullivan

Learning Experience Designer

Skill Development Digital Learning Adult Education

Emma joined Orlynx in mid-2024 after spending five years designing learning programs for some of Ireland's most innovative companies. Her background in educational psychology combined with hands-on experience in corporate training gives her a unique perspective on how adults actually learn and retain new skills.

She's particularly passionate about breaking down complex professional concepts into digestible, actionable steps. Emma believes that learning shouldn't feel like homework—it should feel like discovering new possibilities. Her programs consistently receive feedback like "I actually enjoyed that" and "I can use this immediately."

Emma graduated from UCD with degrees in Psychology and Education, later earning her certification in instructional design. Outside of work, she volunteers with adult literacy programs in Dublin and is currently learning Irish traditional music.

Our Approach to Your Growth

We believe career development isn't about following someone else's blueprint—it's about discovering and building on your unique strengths. Every person we work with brings different experiences, goals, and challenges. That's why our approach starts with listening, continues with collaborative planning, and focuses on practical steps you can actually implement in your daily professional life. We're here to guide, support, and celebrate your progress, not dictate your path.

What Drives Everything We Do

These aren't just words on our website—they're the principles that guide every interaction, every program design, and every piece of advice we share.

Individual Focus

Your career goals aren't the same as anyone else's, and our guidance reflects that reality. We take time to understand your specific situation, aspirations, and constraints before suggesting any direction.

Genuine Partnership

We're not here to lecture or prescribe solutions. Instead, we work alongside you as collaborators, bringing our expertise while respecting your insights about your own career and industry.

Practical Action

Theory is useful, but results come from taking concrete steps. Everything we teach and recommend is designed to be immediately applicable to your real-world professional situation.
